"Wolfhounds always travel in packs in order to overwhelm their prey. Their claws aren’t especially sharp, but their fangs carry an ancient curse capable of turning any critter into one of their pack, although resulting transformations are often erratic and ridiculous-looking, as exemplified by wereducks and froghounds."
